Terms — the plain version
The short version: the profile is free, it's for reflection and growth (not diagnosis or hiring), the Meekins characters are ours, and by starting you join the AQ Labs study described in the Privacy page.
What this is
A free profile of some of your adaptability elements, built from your answers to situational questions, using the AQme model from adaptai Ltd. It's designed for self-understanding and growth.
What this is not
It's not medical, psychological or career advice, and it's not a diagnosis of anything. It must not be used to make hiring, firing or promotion decisions about anyone. If you're struggling, a profile is not the support you need — a professional is.
The study
By starting the assessment you take part in the AQ Labs research study on the terms set out in the Privacy page: anonymised answers only, opt out any time.
Your account
Keep your email accurate so your results reach you. You can delete your account and data any time by emailing privacy@aqai.io.
Our stuff
The Meekins characters, names, artwork, questions and reports belong to adaptai Ltd. AQ® and AQai® are registered trade marks. Share your own result freely — that's what the share card is for. Don't copy, sell or republish the assessment or artwork.
Fair use
Don't misuse the service: no scraping, no automated completions, no attempting to identify other participants, no using it to build a competing assessment.
If something goes wrong
We provide the service with care but as-is; to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to £100. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law.
The legal frame
These terms work under the law of England and Wales. If we change them meaningfully, we'll say so plainly on the site.
